A year or two back someone showed me a VP45 listed as an approved firearm on some states gun roster (maybe MD?), if I recall correctly. Maybe an indication of things to come.

Just confirmed the VP45 is listed on the MD approved firearm roster.

Good to know, but what's the latest word from HK? Will they or won't they?

Also an SFP9 or VP70Z is approved and both are not exactly readily available -

However I agree that the striker fired guns are hot sellers and HK will release a VP45 before we see anything else - most everything is variants of the VP series in the last few years anyway, besides maybe the P30SK

Most probable that they are taking into account for soldiers and other servicemen/women bringing them home from overseas.
I dunno ARE politicians that smart, or is too much credit being given? :D
