Default Buying additional barrel to shoot

    Dear other OCD members,
I have a can’t resist when I see a fair/good deal on extra barrel for my pistols. I bought extra barrels for my beretta and sig pistols so I would not wear out my ser# matching barrel. Now it is spreading to my HK and Walther collections. So, I find a German police usp9 surplus barrel for fair/good deal. Should I buy it for my usp9? Am I having an addiction problem?
    Thank you.
    My friend told me.

How many rounds are you planning to shoot that wearing out the barrel is even a possibility?

I have a feeling this has more to do with asthetics than function...

Thank you for pushing me down the hole. Yes, it is more for preserving the original barrel and look over the function. Originally, I bought my usp9 after I tried a friend’s usp45. I love my usp9 so much, I went out and bought a usp45. Then a usp40. Then 357sig barrel for the usp40. Figure out the issue with the mag issue and it is working perfectly now. My concern is, the disease is spreading from beretta to sig and then getting to hk. If I start with the usp9, next thing is usp45. Then to my p30s and vp9. Damn the hk addiction.

Please do tell. How did you resolve the FTF/FTE issues that HK engineers could not with the USP40 mag?

Usp9 mag w feeding lips filled off 0.5mm each side. Still good for usp9 and feed 357sig fine.
