Compared to single stack subcompacts, yes I would say it's bulkier. But compared to other HK offerings in subcompact form, I think it's very similar. I prefer the longer grip on the P2000 vs. the P2000sk/P30sk/VP9sk and I can conceal it pretty much just as well when carrying AIWB in a sidecar style holster.
    Current:
    HK45 v1
    P2000 v3 9mm
    P2000 v2 --> v1 9mm
    USP v1 9mm
    VP9 LE Grey

    Past:
    P2000sk v3 .40 (traded for the USP9)
P30L v3 9mm (sold before moving to California)

Very underrated gun. Built like a Panzer Tank and accurate. Love mine.

    I carry a P2000sk DA/SA 40. I have a 9mm in LEM, but I HATE the trigger. I feel that the VP9sk has a much better trigger. Why do you want P2000sk over a P30sk?

My P2000 DA/SA supplanted my P30 for a compact carry.
With the seated POTUS I waited towards the end of 2017, and on 11/2017 picked up a NIB P2000 for $535 delivered.
Wait for post Thanksgiving 2018, the industry is on a downturn and I wouldn’t be surprised for another 2017 deep deals.

Hope they're not going up--I just sold my V1/V2 LEM on GB for $464 shipped ;)
You should have posted here, I would have gotten another one for that price!

    Bought a NIB factory 357 Sig V2 for $649.
Loved it so much bought a second identical twin two weeks later (serial numbers are ~7 apart?)
It's my favorite carry Hk for a variety of reasons.
Seems like a very underrated gun IMHO.

Price on them seems to have fluctuated over the years.
I'm partial to the gun, so even when priced high they are worth it to me...

Given my signature pic I bet you can guess how much I love them. Great guns that are a joy to shoot and carry. I have a couple of the V2 LEM versions and will likely never give them up.
Save the whales. Redeem them for valuable prizes.
