Default Has the P9S fallen out of favor?

I'm surprised at the number of very nice P9S for sale on GB at what I thought were reasonable prices that don't seem to be getting any interest. I've seen many comments on here about how much they are loved or desired but nobody is buying them. Am I wrong?

An Acquired taste. For those who like a sweet S/A trigger the 9 mm is a joy to shoot.

    Ditto what chuck says.

Hands down the best trigger break on all my HKs was my P9S. Reset length was average but my goodness, that glass rod break was so sweet. I did not have the time commitment to play with it much to justify ownership so I ended up selling mine.

    Worth buying IMHO.

The Sport models with trigger stop do have an amazing break.

I'm not a huge fan overall, but I wouldn't want to be without one in the collection.

Life is an endless series of trainwrecks with only brief commercial-like breaks of happiness.

One of the better shooting guns for me. Feels and shoots better for me than most of the modern stuff. Actually, I was surprised myself, I wasn’t expecting such good results.

Terrific trio of beauties above. Mine is a 45 that I've had and loved for over 10 years. Still outshoots my USP every time.

Didn't SOG have these cheap about 15 years ago? I would like one, but I won't pay a lot for one.

They continue to be in constant rotation across my workbench, so I'd say there are lots of happy owners who continue to use and collect them.

The glass rod trigger break that @airforce1 described is spot on. One ragged hole at 20 yards if you do your part. I don’t shoot mine as often as I would like as parts are incredibly scarce and getting more so, perhaps that is why there are more P9’s showing up for sale. If it ever breaks I know where to send it! @Marine0303

I lucked out when I bought my .45 version some 30 years ago in that the date code just happened to be “HK”.
