Default Should I be Collecting P7 Parts?

I have a P7 M8 and from looking around here it looks like a lot of parts are no longer made or available. I don't shoot mine a whole lot but I do appreciate it and would like to have it at my disposal until I check out. I am far from an aficionado on these things so I don't know what to expect it to do down the road. Anyhow...I like to be prepared for the future and am considering gathering up some parts that are likely to go south on me. What should I look for and how often do they go out? Are there any of them that I should get a couple or several of?

    Thanks for the help.

You are kinda late to the party. HK discontinued parts early this year and most of the spares you need are OOS/GONE.
Keeping a spare piston, sear bar, TRS, firing pin bushing and spring(s) would had be the minimal

Yuuup. I'm afraid there aren't any left to collect.

A day late and a dollar short, story of my life. I figure some stuff will be floating around, I'll keep a list and move on stuff as I come across it.

Thanks for the info here. P7 now crossed off my list of guns to own. Had been considering one.

You can still get a couple drop safety springs and drop safety's. The rest you can probably find at a high price if you ever need it. There are lots of squirrels among us 😉

Absolutely acquire parts when they come up for sale--- they can only increase in value!!!

As others have said, you are late to the party.
The only place I've seen that still has any parts left is HKParts.
    Good Luck!
