    Default Mark 23 Wilcox.

So I have a couple of questions in regards to the Wilcox Nightstalker. I have three of them and have noticed some differences and confusions.
First is the Mark 23 mounts.

The one that has the Wilcox serial number etc is one that I bought NIB. The other two that don't have the markings I just bought with a mark 23 and so on. Are the other two that I have Knock offs or do they just not the Wilcox markings? They both work just as well as the Wilcox one and they both cut on/off to the particular settings set on the Laser. Any feedback on this would be great.

Secondly, this 2nd gen laser has only the visible settings but they have the indentations for IR compatibility. Are there components in this laser that are IR and it just doesn't have the settings or is it just for show?

    Thanks in advanced!

The 2 "non-labeled" mounts are likely UITC (precursor to Wilcox--- so no "Wilcox" label)--- same mount!!!
I believe that the 2nd Gen. housings were molded with 3 apertures (L to R- VS laser, IR light, IR laser) for ease of production--- if units were specially ordered, any of the 3 apertures could be opened and used, the internals added, and the right-side markings (white and not raised on 2nd Gen. units) applied appropriately.

Congratulations on having three of them. That's quite an accomplishment.
    MaD HuNGaRIaN likes this.
If "Dirty Harry" had been made in 1996:
"I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire twelve shots or only eleven?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a HK MARK 23, the only offensive handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"

Life is full of trials, Tony.

I'm currently at 0 Wilcox after selling mine.

However, considering that the proceeds fully funded the purchase of an HK MP5 and a B&T QD suppressor, I don't really regret it.

On the other hand, my wife regrets it because the Wilcox would have been worth even more by the time I die, and the French government just changed the law and my MP5 is now illegal (along with all guns that started life as full auto). They are allowing those of us who already have such guns to keep them (for now), but they cannot be sold or transferred, and they cannot be left to anyone as an inheritance.

Hope the law changes before your expiration date!!!
That is a "long game" confiscation plan:
