    This could be a really big deal for some. I do like that HK is being responsive to the market.

    I think this was a good move for HK,as many do not like the paddle.I did not read if the magazines will interchange between the two models,my guess is no. I prefer the paddle release and will keep mine. I think HK is looking to get more in the American market and the button release will increase sales for those who complain about the paddles.

    I wish there was a slightly smaller version that took P2000 size mags. I'm still happy with my USPc.

    You’d think a VP9sk-B can only be a a few months away if the VP9 does well. I have NIB VP9 LE that I’ve thought about selling and buying a PPQ M2 5” now I’ve got to think about everything.

    The button seems to be relatively close to the paddle mags engagement point, I wouldn't doubt the Germans in regard to engineering. I also don't think it would be something they'd pursue (logistically speaking) if they'd require new magazines.

    However, I do agree that is a good sales move.

    I failed to notice how the button release is high on the frame.Thanks for pointing that out.

    Agree that its a good sales move. However for me personally I love the paddle mag release.
