I own the HK 45C, but decided to pick up the USP just because I've always wanted one and the brutal simplicity of the design is growing on me, plus I think the grip will appeal to me more than the slick design of the 45C.
Are the USP's still all made in Germany or has that changed?
I've been carrying one for a couple of years. No regrets.
Congratulations on the acquisition!!!
Just to clarify. Apologies for the confusion, but from my InterGoogleWeb research it looks like some HK parts are my manufacture in Germany, but "assembled" here in the U.S.
Is the USP line also assembled in Germany?
You're confusing the HK45/45c. The USP has a DE stamp - Deutschland.
And unlike Sig, the US HK45/45c are fine.
Only the HK45/HK45C series are produced in the U.S., with the frame being the only part manufactured in the U.S. The rest are German made and imported for assembly at their Columbus, GA plant.
The other series are still being made in Germany, including the USP line that you still seem to question.
Love mine in .45 also have the .40s&w
