I agree with commonality: All the other manufacturers should switch to paddles!

Now if HK started making a micro-sized pocket pistol, I'd have NO NEED for other manufacturers. I could become a one-brand man.

Agree, buttons are for those who can't adapt or accept the superior paddle releases. Hopefully, HK won't make all pistols in button release, or at least won't replace paddles. At least the magazines are interchangeable unlike some other German OEMs.

For the poster who inquired, you can still get a Walther PPQ M1 "Classic" though hard to find.

I was just watching a review on Youtube and I noticed that the groove is gone from the inside / bottom of the trigger guard!! It appears that they reshaped the trigger guard so you have clearance below the trigger... THAT alone will make me switch to the new version... my finger gets chewed on the silly groove.

Are they discontinuing the paddle? 2 sets of frames can't be efficient to produce

However, I do give HK credit, at least they didn't do the Walther fiasco which needed a new magazine produced - for me personally and I love my PPQ, I wish I could get a paddle version (I own an M2), but I won't buy one and then have to buy magazines specific for that one, when I already own a PPQ9mm

Its actually one feature that I love on my HK's being a lefty, its so quick and instinctive with the middle finger to release -

Either way its a "meh" from me -

I think we both saw the same video lol. That is a nice feature on the trigger guard, but I feel I've just gotten used to the paddle and would have to fire these new ones to see how large of a difference it makes. At least they came out with this version though.

I have zero issue with the paddle but I'm just sick of my finger getting chewed up....

I love my paddle. Great for spanking and magazine release.
