Most of the reviews are good, they ship from Thailand and estimated delivery as late as Dec 31.

I would not put cheap tires on a Porsche, therefore I would not put cheap grips on an HK.

    No imitations, only duplications!

It's interesting you use a car metaphor.

On the wife's 2002 SLK 32 AMG we only use Continentals. NOT CHEAP. Have the higher speed rating for THAT car (pretty much ONLY that car gets that high of speed rating).

Supposed to be the ones that came on this car from the factory. Can't say.

We like these tires. Work great.

    NOT FROM THAILAND.

But wood grips - are wood grips.

At one point NILL was the new guy on the block and had to prove themselves.

Would it be OK to put a pair of these on my S&W M19? I do like the look of some of their grains. They seem to sell a LOT of S&W grips.

Like is said above, if I don't like them I'm out what, $60? MEH...

After reading some of these responses, I'm going to get a set for my police trade in P7 and post pictures of it all over the place. I also buy cheap reproduction grips for my Lugers, and feel no shame about it.

    OP, thanks for the link!

With a 99.5% positive rating, 202 positive, 3 neutral and one negative they can't be that bad!

I put cheap tires on my Porsche. Have the correct speed rating so I can get all the way up to the speed limit in a few seconds and also last more than 20k miles.

That's like saying every custom Colt and Hi-Power require Craig Spegel grips on it.

There are other quality grip makers out there beside Spegel or Nills, I say explore the options!
