The Cocking Piece is out of stock for a long time now. Another member here is selling one if you are looking to put together a kit (contact Turkina). The cost for the kit will be expensive if you ask me and I don't think it's worth the cost to convert. You might come out ahead by selling yours and buying a LEM.

I would agree. The only benefit it that it can be switched back to a V3, although you will probably not care to, i suppose it might open up your prospective buyers if you decide to sell someday. I am a huge proponent of the system I will buy I can LEM from here on out.

awiner may still also have a cocking piece available if you decide to go the put together a kit route. Though, I however agree and would sell the V3 and buy V1...

Another benefit is that you can retain the V3's decocker. Some will say it's not needed. Others of us like retaining the option of decocking when handling the gun for an additional "belt-and-suspenders" against an ND (i.e., harder to ND when handling the gun with the full double-action pull weight vs. the LEM pull weight).

I didn't think of that. My L is configured that way. Mostly because I forgot to order the LEM sear but i ended up leaving it as is.

Exactly what I did with my P2000SK. My new V2 is actually in jail right now. As soon as I pick it up, the Da/Sa V3 is going up for sale.
