Default Question for you USP Aficionados....

Hereís the question: if I installed the match sear spring and the new style catch, would it function with the original USP hammer?

    Thanks for any info!!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but there's an old hammer & new hammer. You would need the hammer with the notch cut out (new style) to work with the new style catch.

^^ what he said. You cannot mix and match the Catch and Hammer; either New+New or Old+Old.

The Match sear spring will work fine either way.

All AF (or later) USP/USPCs have the new style internals.

Iím following this up with a brief experiment:

Iíll test the trigger pull with the entire Match Trigger Kit in, and then again with the regular but new-style hammer.

Iíll take 20 measures of each and do an average and standard deviation.

Iím curious because I could buy all the parts on HK Parts except for the Match Hammer and Trigger parts.

So, if I get 80% towards the Match Trigger feel and weights, Iíll be pretty happy.

You should PM @holshot36 and ask him if he has any Match Trigger Kits left.
