    Default USP Striker Fired Possible?

I saw a video that they made a Tangfolio striker fired by swapping out 4 parts. I like hammer fired pistols and striker fired pistols the same, but what I think would be great is if HK Made a striker fired USP line.

Do you guys think a striker fired USP pistol would be good? Would you buy one?

You got to think that the SIG P320 was once a hammer fired pistol, as it was originated from the SIG modular SIG P230.

The full size USP is prefect, except the rail....however if they made one I would be first in line, though it will never happen

A USP striker? Ugh! Not for me. USPs were designed to be DA/SA (standard or match).

As for the Sig P320, it was designed as a striker from the ground up.

    Hell yeah. I want a USP40C or a P229 in 40 next. I can’t make up my mind.

Yeah I always thought if they did make a striker fired USP, it would be the mother of all striker fired pistols.

HK calls the VP-series robust. Time will tell if the veeps live up to the astonishing reputation of the USP.
I'd say HK did good by designing the vp the way they did, instead of trying to Franken- the USP.

THAT SAID, if they made one, I'd buy it!

The VP9SK is my first and only striker.

    Nope.
I'd rather have an all metal usp or an OR usp. Those I'd buy by the handfuls.
If it's HK I want it.

I'd prefer HK go a different direction, like a polymer P7m13!

No , for many reasons . Do you think the Flintstone's engineering group could come up with something for the Jetson's ?

The Flintstones designed the VP70 and P7 strikers, and the P9 delayed-roller, before getting around to the SA/DA USP. The HK4, is just a Mauser HSc, with an alloy frame. The VP is just a Glock price-point competitor. Personally, I love the P9's and USP series.

This will not happen. The future is the P30 and VP9. You and I love the USP, but everyone else thinks we are dinosaurs.
