    VP9 Tactical + VP9 Long Kit--- I would wait for the VP9L!!!
Smart marketing by HK--- release the kits so that you buy the sidearm + the kit, before the whole sidearm is released.

    Base VP9 + longslide kit
VP9 Tactical and just hold out on the LS
VP9 LE and just hold out on the LS
Wait until the VP9 with the LS kit is available together
    Any suggestions?
With the choices you have today Id just wait for a complete VP9L. Love the sights on the Long slide, and the fact that the LS has an o-ring, which no other VP9 model has......

For me at least, were I to purchase a VP9 other than the long slide, i would need to buy new sights (Dawson) - with the VP9L, id be more than happpy with the provided sights....

Could've sworn I responded earlier but I did the install myself. There's one very very important part that I misplaced and didn't realize it until I tried to test fire. Without experience(training or in my case... fking up) the Trigger Stop bolt can be an issue as it's removed from the inside of the trigger pocket. Just remember to put the little bastard back in there.

I have a VP9t and just received my VP9L slide from Cross Creek. I swear the pistol feels lighter and handles better with the long slide on it.

The real test will be at the range in a few weeks.

    Default Easy Choice

Got a screaming good deal on a standard VP9 a while back.
But Long Slide guns make me weak
So when I saw the LS kits and 20 round mags.
I folded like a cheap lawn chair - LOL!

Same question as well - and I assume because the slides are marked VP9L-B, it will be button only? If thats the case I'll buy the slide assembly separate and get the cheapest base model VP9 I can find in the meantime -

I like button mag release just fine, but on my HK's, I want a paddle, it just feels right.

This is what I did, best option currently.

Man I didn’t even think of that. I don’t want a button type mag release so maybe my set up is the best option for the time.
