Vp9 stock basic, add long slide, and store the standard slide.
    Or store the long slide.
Use both, their both fun, it’s a great range beater toy!

I beat the crap out of mine, haven’t cleaned mine is a wile, a little oil before each range trip, that’s it.
Sorry I lied, I’ve cleaned her twice, first two range trips, haven’t cleaned since, she is my beater toy.

Range regulars love the grey frame, always ask what it is, if they’d an shoot it,.....sorry, no, you can’t shoot it, Liability reasons, jus in case.

For the price, and fun she has, worth the price for a beater range gummed up filthy firearm.
Pretty filthy these days, but she keeps on running. I refuse to clean til I have issues.
Not lazy, just ..........like having a beater at their range. Keeps the HD USP clean and ready.
    Maybe a little lazy :)

Well said. I put the L kit on my range VP9 that has 24K through it. Going to keep running until something breaks, just to see when. I've gone couple thousand without cleaning without a hiccup, but then I feel guilty and cleaned it.

Think I'll try a 5K test see how she runs.

Gotta have one gun that's just for fun, and the 9L is too much fun to shoot.

I found a complete VP9 frame on Gunbroker for a good price a while back. Between the LS kit and that complete frame. I will have a complete LS gun for about the price of a standard VP9. Only down fall is there was no mags with the frame.

And if HK listens to me (if they had any sense), they would come out with the VP9 as a sport group. Standard slide, tactical, long slide, and anything else cool they could throw in the case. HK, serial #000001 would be sufficient for coming up with the idea.

I’d like to know the difference in length, weight, and recoil between the long slide and a comped VP9 with the Silencerco threaded barrel.
