The KES / GHW combo all day long.
Folders are OK, but the collapsing set up is the cat's .. uhm... meow. Being able to keep the width profile of the gun the same is great. It is a very solid unit.
I've tried the SB tactical braces on MP5k clones (ptr's) that a few of my buddies have, and they aret workable -- but, in my opinion, they feel cheap.
I don't like the flexible plastics that they use. It works, don't get me wrong, but the KES is all metal.
That means something, to me.

Future: Done, until HK comes out with something new & nifty. Might start building an FNH collection.

Yeah it destroys them. Bolt gap is in spec. I’m just confused about why it’s happening
I'll look at it when I get home, sadly I'm still at work (taking a little sanity break to surf the interwebz)
I Have the SBT brace. It's nice drops in fine.
The Safety Harbor KES required a lot of fitting because the holes didn't match the SP5K's. So I spent my time making it fit. That said, it is a phenomenal stock. If you decide to shoulder it, it gives you a much more sturdier stock to shoot from. In short, I would buy it again.
My Safety Harbor KES slipped right in to place on my SP5K. No effort. No adjustments at all. Beautiful piece.
Have you all seen this? Anyone else having issues with the hammer shank striking the SBT5KA?
I bought a new HK SP5K pistol last year and it came with the SB Tactical brace already installed.
I'm pretty sure the gun shop I purchased it from installed it, but at $2,199.00 I thought it was a great deal since the only other one I saw was listed at $2,500.00.
I haven't shot it yet, but it shoulders well and feels right.
I have the sb folding brace and it works really well.
