    Thanks... I will keep checking.

The Expert is a fine shooting gun, only think I did like was the sights so changed them with meprolight's.
Nice guns! I think I’m just going to put a Dawson’s FO front on mine. I like the adjustable rear well enough.

I wonder how snappy the .40 Expert is.

The expert is an amazing pistol. I should get another. I have found the full size usp with dawson sights, jet funnel, and match trigger shoots almost as well. I have a USP custom sport I am excited to try soon, but the expert is really hard to miss with.

Yeah, I wonder if it’s just the length that makes it a better shooter than the full size with the sights, and match trigger.

I’m gonna look up the details on the custom sport; I haven’t heard about that one yet.

Purchased the pachmyr brand, much better,, there is no palm swell
    More comfortable for me

Dont use the hogue no more palm swell uncomfortable
Medium large/ large hands. Fat fingers
The pachmyr one fits sommuch better for me. If i had bear paws like my Father, would be fine, but i dont.

Thanks! Do you know which specific Pachmayr? I looked before I bought the Hogue but couldn’t find a Pachmayr for the HK model?

Don’t remember, sorry, found on amazon.
Pretty much any large will fit.

PachmYr slip on grip #3 for the USP AND LARGER GRIPS.

bought both the medium and. Large for various stuff.
    All work well.
    Hogue in closet unused.

Call pachmayr, or email for info.
That’s what I did, as I was unsure of fit, they reassured me, all is great, best grips I’ve purchased.
Single finger groove one for hk45C is also great.

Put one on the Mk23, it was too big, took it off. Your results may vary
    Hope this helps.

    Great grips!

Thanks! I just ordered a set of the Pachmayrs for large pistols. If those are too big then I will try the mediums.

Now I’m just waiting for the new grip sleeves, new front sight, and some .45 Ammo.

Now that my USP compacts have been modified to my liking (I do wish I could have one of those little ledges carved into the gun for my support thumb ... but that’s a pipe dream), I’m moving on to setting up the Expert. I’ve decided to go the 9 mm Expert conversion route so that will be the next project.
