    Default p30 tactical ?

    hello all,

I am seeking some input on a p30 i came by. It is a 2013 v3 with a factory threaded barrel ( serial matches slide ) with charge em up sights (not suppressor sights). Haven't had any luck finding out exactly what i have here... anyone out there have any hk guru wisdom nuggets??

There exists a P30 SD; it comes with the Superluminova sights, but they're the adjustable LPAs, not the standard sights.

Haven't ever seen one in the wild, though.

What country do you live in ?

They were available in Europe but I don't recall any coming to the US.

HK does offer the P30 with a threaded barrel from the factory. The model is called P30 SD. HK USA has never imported any into the US however, and has never mentioned any plans to do so.

When I bought my P30L, I contacted HKCS and ordered a P30L factory threaded barrel. So sure, it doesn't say tactical on the side, but still looks cool as hell!

Purchased a threaded barrel separately, nice to have a backup barrel for mine, she gets a lot of use.

I would love a p30l tactical. HK pistols seem to run suppressors the best.
