    Default Vp9

Picked up a vp9, feels like a great gun, just wondering if there are any mods besides long slide I can buy directly from hk

I just purchased upgrades for my new VP9 myself, so I think I can help.

The only necessary mod I'd recommend, although not a part from HK direct, would be to be an Enhanced Aluminum Support Sleeve from HKParts.

Other add-ons I put on were the Aluminum Slide Plate Cover, and the Lazy Wolf Guns F3 Trigger. Besides some +5 base plates, there really isn't much to add to the pistol. Only part I have not decided on yet is the competition magwell vs low profile magwell vs no magwell.

Currently Rick Holm from Lazy Wolf Guns is working on my VP9L. You will find nothing but overwhelming praise about his work from others here on HKPro and even guys on the HK shooting team, like JD and Sean.

    Hope this helps!

The rail mount compensator is awesome. No recoil. Looks great on the gun.

As said earlier, the aluminum sleeve is a great idea. Technically not necessary, but if you’re going to be taking the slide apart more than twice I’d recommend it.

Second thing would be the “low profile magwell.” 1) it functions great as a flared magwell. 2) it looks great aesthetically. 3) I, and a few others, find it to enhance your hand’s grip on the firearm.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me

I opted for the Dawson Sights only because I was consistently a tad low. I never benched it or anything like that, but compared to everything else I have, it was low. They have a pretty good program to help you zero in your gun too.

The only other HK 'mod' I know of is the 20 round factory magazines.

I have a p2000 with light lem and comp hammer spring that I love, if I could get the vp9 to feel like that would be awesome
