Now to the point of HK ad naseum...I wonder if a 357 Sig barrel will work with the 40S&W slide on the P2000SK? Ultimately, the convertible gun!

It works fine. Both .357sig and .40 barrels are the same dimensions.

Got the .40 slide and barrel today and it integrates perfectly with my standard 9mm frame. (P2000SK). I may get crazy and consider getting a 357 Sig barrel which should fit that 40SW slide. The Trifecta gun!

What about the magazines? Do 40sw fit the 9mm magazines?

Yeah, no. But, 40 mags will fit in the 9 frame. I use my P2000sk 40 slide and barrel (actually, with .357SIG barrel) on the p30sk frame.
I use the 40/357 mags in that configuration.

ETA: The 9/40 mag bodies have the same profile, however different feed lip dimensions for 40/357 versus 9mmx19.

Got the 357Sig barrel for it as well. Truly love that 357Sig. Appreciate that the 40SW mags work with the 357.

I knew exactly what you were thinking because I saw that slide on ebay and if it had been for a P2000 I totally would have done the same thing. Thats how I got the 9mm P30L slide for my 40 lol
