What trigger did you get on your HK45ct? V1 DA/SA or V7 heavy LEM? What can you do with it? Learn and enjoy it, which is why you bought it, right? And if you still hate it, sell it here. Someone will buy it along with the extra mags. The HK45ct is a fine gun, and is well appreciated here.

^^^^ 100% if you're absolutely going to shoot double action. A distant second to that would be to buy a 5/6 detent plate and shoot the pistol cocked and locked single action. Additionally you'll notice a slight improvement to both options with the grey guns drop in kit

OP, I too am curious what trigger your handgun came with. The HK45 line generally gets good trigger reviews for an out of the box double/single action trigger. Not custom shop good reviews, but generally good reviews for an out of the box combat handgun. If you are comparing it to a 1911 pattern gun, or something similar, you're looking at apples and oranges. For instance, the HK45 trigger is much better (IMHO) than the P30 line (in the same configurations). The LEM trigger kits will turn the handgun into a one trigger pull trigger. There are different LEM configurations/trigger weights. I have very little experience with the LEM triggers, so I will defer to others regarding the LEM.

I carry mine condition 1 (cocked/locked). that is my one trigger pull solution, it works for me.

good luck, the HK45C is a great handgun.

Nothing wrong with the triggers on my numerous HK45C and full size big brothers. Some are V1, some are V7.

I find triggers more than acceptable for a combat handgun, if want a target pistol, might consider purchasing a built for target shooting model.

You might like an LEM, probably a lite LEM.
