For sure want to get a new buffer and spring. My P9s 9mm buffer was like wax when I bought it

Nice score! Date code of HH is 1977. SACO was the Security Arms COrporation and as stated, they were the importers before HK set up their own import office.

What a nice P9s and certainly a great price. Really cool piece of firearms history. A doctor I worked with had a suppressed 9mm P9 and I still remember how much I lusted over that gun.

I bought a nos barrel for my P9s 9mm to have it threaded, but haven’t had a chance to send it off

What are the avg prices for P9s .45 mags? Saw a thread from 2011 that says to just buy them when you see them and ignore the price.

Yes,just buy them. You may luck out and only pay $120. Great pistol.

Do you have the target trigger?

Not sure, stripped it down to clean and oil it but haven’t had a chance this weekend to get back to it. How can you tell if it has a target trigger? Also thanks for the info on the mag. Had a nice used one on eBay for 120 shipped so I went ahead and purchased it.
