I got to the range today, to shoot my VP9 for the first time after the Acro was direct milled by Primary Machine. When I went to zero the pistol as it was sent to me from Primary, I was hitting just one inch low at 25 yards. Slight adjustment and I was done. Very satisfactory combination – the VP9 and the Acro is top of the food chain for an all weather EDC combination. Extremely satisfied by the work and fast turn around by Primary Machine.
Here is what it looks like in action:
Sweet shooting. Anyway you can post a few pics or video on how the ACRO looks on the full pistol?
The Trijicon suppressor sights take more room than I would like out of the Acro’s display. I tried regular Trijicon HD, and neither they nor standard height OEM sights are usable through the Acro. I may check these out, as they are taller than OEM, but I believe shorter than the Trijicon suppressor sights.
Thanks for the pics. Looks great.
I have dawson precision fiber optic sights on my vp9 now. I have their standard height but my understanding is that they can customize the front sight height based on your needs. (In case you want to go the fiber optic route).
Bruce emailed me today and let me know the Dawson sights they offer are on order and about 3 weeks out. So I will mess with irons later, probably determine what I need for a lower 1/3 by using my calipers and picking the closest Dawson rear and front. Then see where POI is and order a custom front sight to regulate my preferred carry ammo.
