Default Differences between USP-T Adjustable Meprolight and “German” adjustable

Perusing HKParts.net I noticed there’s two versions of the adjustable rears. Aside from the HK logo, are these both really just mepros or are there differences I’m not catching?

IIRC, Meprolight makes all night sights that are installed on HK hand guns, it would seem the HK logo version may be a few dollars more.

If you get them at the place you mention, expect to pay even more

    Post a link/PN.
Mepros are typically night/Tritium, HK 'German' doesn't/cannot have Tritium.

There are 2 adjustable rear sights for the USP series: 1 is from Meprolight, which is a night sight, and the other one which is non-night-sight and comes standard on all Tactical (including USP9SD), Expert, Match, Elite models, made by LPA for HK. The LPA adjustable sight is a plain sight (no dot).

I went with the mepros on my USP T. I do not think the regular sights are practical because of the lack of contrast. I felt this was I when was younger with good eyes. Even more so with older eyes.

At some point HK USA started shipped us(we were HK LE distributors)the USP tacticals with meps night sight already installed(dont recall the price changing), think it was around 2009(or whatever year I got married), before that they had shiped with standard adjustable non night sights like on the Experts and Elites
