You're probably right. I'm just trying to make sure that it isn't a symptom of a future problem coming to light.

    Continue to test/observe.
I use 124gr/+P HST and I routinely press-check my P30SK (~650rds), and it doesn’t/hang do that. OAL the HST/JHP is 1.097 vs. 1.105 FMJ, .008 difference is negligible between SD/range ammo.
When you press-check, allow the slide to snap forward (don’t help it back).

    What is your lube?
Some are reported to gunk up (Froglube). The chamber is polished, run it dry/clean with a patch through it.

I run the exact same ammo for carry. As for lube, I'm using amsoil full synthetic for cleaning and protectant. I also use a needle applicator to put small dabs of gun butter in the slide rails and high friction areas of the frame. I do this after every range day.

    Lube is GTG.
Aside from Hoppe's, my final lube is M1/5W-30.

Final check... Both recoil springs coils are wound evenly with no breakage. I don’t read anything unusual here, yours might just be from manufacturing tolerance/stacking.

Probably just pressure from the loaded rounds in the magazine holding the slide back a little when you do your presscheck. If it isn't happening with normal shooting then you are fine.
