I know it really doesn't matter but I made sure this USP was German made. One shop told me that all USPs are still made in Germany but I thought the more recent batch frames are made in the US. I'm just happy that my frame says, "Made in Germany" haha

I didn't upgrade anything on this gun. I thought the extended mag release was standard on all USPs? Or is this a newer addtition to the USP tactical line? And thank you, i'll look into ordering some blazer brass tonight. Thoughts on running .45 Supers on this gun? Recommended ammo for defense as well?

They are indeed. I can't believe I waited to this long to acquire one!

Thank you! I'll have to look into what the Jet Funnel Kit is exactly. My original intentions are to only change the sights on this gun and leave everything else alone. I think the Jet Funnel kit helps increase mag capacity but i'm perfectly fine with 12 rounds. I actually have a can in jail right now :) Octane 45k. I know it's an older, shorter can but I got it for free from SiCO bogo deal they had last summer. I'm not expecting anything ultra quiet with the 45k but as long as it keeps it hearing safe I'll be happy. I'm using this gun as a nightstand gun.

No kidding? How long was this ago? That's an awesome deal. Congrats on your pick up. I'm actually considering an expert as my next pistol.

If you upgrade the paddle mag, make sure the holster fits and it states that can accommodate the longer paddle mag, especially the kydex types.

There is no factory JF kit for the .45, but someone did some modification to make it work with the .45. YMMV.

I got the HK45T DA/SA first... excellent gun. Put a Grayguns trigger kit in it. The SA and the reset are noticeably better. Have a USP 45 expert on it's way, saw it on the HK handguns for sale forum here. Have several .45 suppressors already and the 16x1 LH pistons. I shoot the 45T more than any other gun I own... it eats any brass, aluminum and even USA steel case with nary a bobble.
