    Default HK for ccw ?

Lookin at different guns for ccw carry. Wat are a couple smaller size HK pieces that would be a good carry choice for everyday use? I had a sub compact .45 Taurus millenimum pro but it was way to heavy to carry everday. Deciding between a revolver or semi and looking at ideas. Tnx

    Heyas Drp2hrd!
There's quite a few really good compact and subcompact guns out there.
For HK, there's a good variety of choices as well. There's the USP compact, the p2000 and p2000 sk, tho these can be some of the pricier options.
If you are lookin at more recent offerings there's the P30sk and the VP9sk, both of which are great pistols that carry very well, feel fantastic in hand, soft shooters and more accurate than several of us put together. There's the option of 10, 13, 15, or 20 round mags as well.
Price point (depending on what and where you buy) is also in a range that's considered affordable, and acceptable loss, if confiscated.

Most of the time to be honest I EDC a Glock 27 or 26. However, I do carry a HK p2000sk and Vp9sk. I prefer the p2000sk over the Vp9sk. With all that said. You can’t go wrong with any of them. All high quality and uber reliable EDC. weapons. If your after a HK. Go with the Vp9sk as it’s more supported and you can actually find one and holsters/ aftermarket accessories.

I recently relegated by first love (P2000 9mm V1) to nightstand duty, replaced by a sweet P30SK 9mm, V1 variety. They are both excellent carry pieces, the P30SK just working a bit better with the shorter barrel. Regarding the P30SK, even with the 10 round, flush magazine, sans pinky rest, the recoil is absolutely minimal and accurate at any self-defense distance.

Some context, HK doesn't make civilian pocket/single-stack guns. The smallest new series SC's are the 9mm VP9SK/P30SK 10+1.

P7M8 would be my vote. I bought one solely for this purpose. Single stack, reliable, accurate, incredibly safe for carry.
