    Default P2000 V2 to V4

I recently purchased a new P2000 V2 9mm that was manufactured in 2004. I am interested in converting it to a V4 trigger variant via FPBS #209296. Is my stock firing pin and block compatible with this lighter spring?

Yup, have at it. I did that to an AF P2000SK not to long ago and am very pleased with the result. No issues at all for me.

I noticed the attached information while doing a search. The post is referring to a USP compact, but didn’t know if it might apply to my P2000 also.

New spring is in. It fit into a cup on the bottom of the pin block so everything seems good. This took my trigger pull from about 7 pounds down to about 6 by my Timney spring gauge. Trigger wasn’t bad to begin with, but it’s just a bit better now. For a defensive weapon I’m happy with it.

The P2000/P2000SK series pistols have always had the new FP/FPB/FPBS so that piece of info does not apply to yours.
