Default New P30 - some trigger specifics

    New Grey German P30s.

My main problem right now is the stacking at the latter end of the DA pull - everything else I can live with.

Is this 'solved' by replacing the massively heavy FPBS? (some seem not to think so). While the FPB spring feels really heavy, when dry firing, AFTER the break, when I pull back on the trigger, I cannot feel much resistance, but cannot feel it in this mode. Not sure, but I would think this should help.

I assume I have the LIGHT TRS - true?

How heavy is the stock hammer mainspring? What is the usual replacement?

I cannot find an alternate firing pin spring - does someone make one? why not? This is a typical mod on a CZ and allows the lighter mainspring with total reliability.

I am not a reset nazi, so no biggey - but if I install the GG kit, what OTHER benefit ensues? (Other than the FPBS which lessens the stacking per above)?

    Thanks.

All I did on my P30L was replace the firing pin block spring with #209296 and in my opinion it made a noticeable difference in the DA trigger pull.

So you had stacking and it went away? (which of course points to the RFP spring being the cultprit).

Also, which FPBS is the 'one' to get:

    https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Firi...ced-p18110.htm

    OR, this: https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Firi...ight-p1955.htm

    Thanks.

Well, stacking was reduced to an acceptable level for me personally. You will have some in DA mode because you are also compressing the hammer spring. I used FPBS #209296

@Hkbrian Yours has the Heavy FPBS. The part that HK Carson mentioned above (209296) is the Light FPBS that you can use.

This Light FPBS can be had for $3 when they're in stock at HKCS but unfortunately it's OOS right now.

@Nick101ABN Just a 3/32 roll-pin punch, hammer, and gun block to support the slide. There is instruction in one of the guides in the Reference Library.

Great thanks gents. What about the Lone Wolf light FPBS?

Also, what is the weight of the stock HK hammer spring? What do people normally run as replacements??

    Thanks.

As I stated upfront I have a German grey p30s. To my knowledge there is only one version - it has a safety (per the S) and de cocker. Not a LEM and not an L. I’ve never seen a grey frame in any other configuration.
