Default I got really lucky and found my unicorn

So, I’ve been lurking for a while here and purchased my first HK last July. I got an Expert in 9 that I love. I then purchased a ps30sk for carry. Gotta say, it probably isn’t the pistol for me. I just like my USP much better. The feel, the trigger, the look, etc.

So, I started searching on GB for a USPc in 9. I started reading reviews, watching vids, etc. I found out they made a SS option on a limited run and I knew this is what I wanted. The SS USPc in 9 was it.

I found out the 9 is pretty rare, and more so in SS. I found one recently in stainless on GB and my max bud was 795, and it went for over 1k. I was going to just purchase a new standard one this week I decided, just go for a black or a grey frame, whatever I could find online.

Well, during my lunch break last Friday I went in to a “Surplus Ammo” store I saw in a run down strip mall. I needed some bulk ammo in various cal. and I wanted to check out their prices as I had time before heading back to work.

They had 7-10 used pistols on consignment on display. I could see a few 92fs and a stainless USP. I got closure expecting the HK to be a 40SW, but it was a 9! I asked to see it, almost perfect shape, very little wear on factory barrel finish at all too. I couldn’t believe the price. I’ve never purchased a pistol this fast. As I was doing the paperwork the clerk brought out the factory box and extra unused mag to inspect!

I feel so good about this one guys. I just need to replace the worn night sights and I have my perfect carry. I still have 9 business days before I can pick up.

    Thanks for reading.

And the full size 9. Would love to pick up a stainless.

Ya, this was my best score on a firearm I’ve ever had. The condition and the price couldn’t have been better timing. I was a day away from buying a CA 10 rnd mag model with a grey frame/black slide. Nothing wrong with those but I really wanted a SS. I’m one happy HK enthusiast right now.

Gorgeous gun, almost unbelievable price. I've seen a used USPc9 at $500 in .40S&W - Cabela's - but never a stainless one in 9. Wow.

My only thing is... I wouldn't carry that! Safe. Queen.

Jeeez Louise. I'm excited about this and I didn't even get the pistol.
    Well done.
My opinion's as worthy as one from any other doddering old grampa you have never met or heard of.
