Default P2000sk V3 to LEM.. Questions

Anybody ever do this conversion from a stock V3 to a Lite LEM and either remove or keep the decocker? Mine is a .40

    Pros or cons?

    Thanks!

If you go that route this will be invaluable if you haven’t already read it.

Default P2000sk V3 to LEM.. Questions

I converted my P2000SK .40 V3 to Light 4.1 LEM. However I retained the V3 sear so that no hole was left in the rear of the slide.

I would recommend a match nickel sear spring while your at it.

    Function is perfect.

How is the trigger pull and do you ever use the decocker?

Classic LEM trigger. If you haven’t shot LEM before or takes a little getting used to but like most after a little practice most like it.

I don’t use the decocker under normal circumstances however if you were to store the firearm it’s not a bad option to be able to relive all the spring tension.

My HK45 is also LEM and as such I am well acquainted with the system/action.

Con is the conversion is not approved by Hk.
USP you can convert to any veriant you want.
Hk will be happy to do it for you.
    P series not so much.
My recommendation is to sell it and get a factory P2000sk LEM gun.
Conversion of a factory V2 P2000sk to V1 is approved.
    I'm just saying...

HK45/HK45c are just like the USP (Hk Approved).
