Default USP45 Expert, is this true love?

Hi guys, back after a bit of an HK hiatus due to finances. Iím coming back strong though! Just got my hands on an expert in 45. The trigger is amazing, I adjusted the over travel stop and I just canít keep my hands off it.

One quick note, I noticed some wear on the barrel across the serial number which can be seen in a picture below (this is brand new). Iíve never seen that on my USPís in the past however I noticed the fit between the slide and barrel is much tighter on the expert.

Iím hoping to get a range trip in this weekend, but Iím taking a long range course. So it may have to wait until Tuesday .

You must not have shot many rounds through your other USPs.

The rub mark on the barrel side is absolutely normal.

Thatís a passion mark. Enjoy it. Iíll be shooting mine again this weekend.

I bought a thousand rounds a few weeks back of S&B 230 FMJ. Iím almost half way through that case of ammo.

As others have stated, it is completely normal. Get out there and shoot it!! I do not have a 45 expert, but really like the 9mm Expert.

    Thanks guys, I canít wait.

To amend my note above; I have the rub marks on my other USPís, Iíve just never seen one that went through the serial number.

The Expert/Elite barrel is fitted to the slide and I expect is tighter than the standard USP.
