Default Just to be clear about the CA Compliant USP45...

I found a good deal on a CA compliant USP45 with the stupid 10rd mags. I live in Nevada and would prefer the regular 12rd mags which I'm legally allowed to have in this state. So just to be clear, the 12rd mags will work in CA compliant frames, correct? Out of an abundance of caution I wanted to make sure the CA compliant model hasn't been further modified to prevent the use of 12rd mags.

You're correct, 12rds magazines will work.

All CA Compliant means is that CA DOJ required HK to pay a nominal fee to keep the USP on our stupid “safe handgun roster”. The USP we get here is no different mechanically speaking.

Thanks guys. I was afraid of asking a stupid question, but I was more afraid of ordering a gun online only to discover I paid HK prices and was duped by the liberal conspiracy to make us all sheeple.

I'm not familiar with the CA laws, so I'm not sure if they require a certain SKU number or not. IF they do, a new pitol with the compliant mags would have a different SKU number printed on the packaging, than the regular model. Aside from the mags, no mechanical changes to the gun itself.
