I guess it is up to the user, for me it is still one of my favorite guns and does get carried often. (Mainly for hiking/outdoor trips)
I carry mine outdoors also. I’ve also carried my HK45 on a few deer hunts.

So it seems to boil down to mag capacity and size relative to the USPc and HK45c. I still really like mine even though my USPf Tactical with Hogue sleeve and GGG adapter pretty much eclipses the HK45's capabilities. I think for now I'll hold onto it. Probably should take it to the range and field more.

When I carried my 45c the 10rd mag was in my carrier and I only used the flat base plate while holstered, which was a great concealed carry 45.
I even had a double mag carrier for the "south side" of town..........

I do the same with my P30sk. Carry a 15 round mag, but have the more nearly flush 13 round in the handgun. Assuming we are talking about the same basic thing.

I put the mag extender on my HK45, as well as a TLR-1 light. It's the nightstand gun. I love the ergonomics of it over the USP, shoot it very well, and now have a 12+1 capacity. I CC the 45C, which seems much more like the P2000 series than the HK45. I had a pro smooth out the trigger and reduce the hump on the trigger guard. Love this gun.

I run the HKPARTS mag extenders on mine. My HK45 is my uniform duty gun. Even though I’m working a plain clothes assignment currently (HK45C is my concealed/plain clothes gun), my full size is with me in my rifle bag daily. I love my full-size HK45 (as well as my OD Green HK45 Tac. They are my go to guns for overt (non-concealed) work.

I certainly wasn't trying to be rude, just accurate.

Ditto! HK45 been my favorite platform since 2013, with the HK45c a very, very, close second. HK45 is my primary duty pistol. HK45c is my back up while on duty and carried daily as my CCW and depending on configuration is a jack of all trades platform. I own a USP45 and have since December 18' and like it very much. However I can say with confidence I still preference the HK45 and HK45c.

It does. If your action spring is worked get a new one first. The offerings from Buffalo Bore bound in the chamber and locked up the pistol just when chambering a round but Underwood was good to go through mine.
