Default Can you install a safety on a P2k???

After searching the forums for months trying to get a definitive answer, I still can't find it. I know it was never offered with one. Without getting into the age old argument of why or why not these guns should have a safety or why anyone would need one etc. Can you install a safety on the P2k or P2kSK? Maybe the USPC, or HK45c safety? Thanks for any info!

    No.

The internals are different than the USP / HK45 family.

The P30 / P30Sk can be had with a safety which really nullifies the point of trying to hack up a P2000/SK

    definitive answer is no.
There no parts that convert a P2K series to Safety.

Unless you want a .357 sig gun with a safety that's not a USPc.

You'd be better off getting P30S in .40 and getting a conversion barrel.

And you won't even have to drill holes in your gun.

You can add a magazine disconnect safety to the P2000. There is a factory parts kit available. Other than that, that’s all you have for safety on a P2000.
