    I find it easier to go from left to right, and push the pin through each part as they are installed.

    Me too. I also find it helpful to apply light oil to the parts before inserting.

    BTW, unlike the P30, the P2000/P2000sk sear axles seem to be (based on usage and micrometer reading) of uniform diameter.
