    Default Grayguns Short Rest Kit

Folks: I don't care about reset, but the kit listed on Grayguns says it reduces over travel and pull weight - those DO interest me. Any experiences out there to confirm this claim? Thanks.

Sorry, correction: reset reduced approx. 2/3. Trigger pull reduced approx. 20 ozs. in DA and 6 ozs. in SA.

Polishing trigger bar, hammer strut top, hammer base and internal, sear, and disconnector will help smooth the action. No need to polish the GG control latch. Installing nickel plated flat sear spring will smooth action too. Of course installing a lighter hammer spring decreases pull weight also.

Just did this for my P30sk lem. The long reset was my only legitimate complaint (there's a few like-to-see's). The GG certainly reduced the reset along with the pull weight and over-travel enough to notice. Is it worth the coin? Yes. In fact, just ordered another kit for my '94 USP, which is about to get a major make-over.

2/3 reduction in overtravel or reset?

Reset for the P2000sk. It is the only one I have. Depending on what gun and variant you have and light or heavy trigger it will depend what it will do.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant reset (rather than overtravel) reduced approx. 2/3.

To be clear it reduces it by 1/3 of original distance to 2/3 of the original pull distance.
