Default VP9 SK Missing Date Code

I'm unable to find an explanation on the interwebs; was wondering if anyone could help demystify why my VP9 SK is missing a date code including the "stag antlers"?
"...I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff...That's all I'd do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd really like to be..."

Per German regulation, proofs are not required for a weapon sold in a non-CIP country, weapons final assembled in another country, or weapons made from parts of more than one country is how I remembered being explained about the half and half Sigs back in the day. Proofs can be applied, however, if the manufacturer desires, or is unsure of final destination of the weapon, provided that they completed the testing.

Do you have a shield on the barrel. It would be on the ejection side of the barrel
