Default Will a Trijicon mount for P30 fit a VP9?

FNG question - Any idea if the Trijicon RMR/SRO pistol mount HK .45/P30 SKU: AC32054 will fit a VP9? I have a VP9 and have never handled the P30 but I understand they are very similar with the main difference being the hammer/striker.

    Thanks in advance.

I think so because they use the same sights.

I can't see why they wouldn't, because what he said.

Thanks for the answers, you guys rock.

Never mounted a red dot, do these mounts typically use the existing rear sight screw holes or would I need a gunsmith to mill the slide? Trijicon website says ' Professional Installation Recommended' which makes me wonder if that is the case.

    Thanks again

No milling is required which is the benefit of the mount. Whether to use a gunsmith or not is up to you. Would you install a new set of sights yourself? I would take it someplace because I don't have a sight pusher. You can put the rds on yourself once the mount is on.
