    Default USP compact 9 varients

My importer friend is currently working on a deal to purchase a few hundred units of HK USP Compact 9's from a defunct security agency. The deal is not complete yet so I cannot disclose any info of what l do know of it.

Anyways, I understand there are many varients and set ups available for this gun. Just curious if anyone can tell me anything about this piece I have a pic of? He does not have a pic available of the left side yet however.

I'm planning on purchasing a few if the deal goes through, so I'm trying to learn all I can.

From the pic, looks like a traditional V1 DA/SA.

Could be a V1, V3 or V9, need to see the detent plate. And the spurred hammer is added, USPc’s come with a bobbed hammer. I know some here have added the spurred hammer, Kost comes to mind. I’ve never seen a factory issued USPc with the spurred hammer.

A USP Compact in V9/V10 comes with a spurred hammer from factory. These are the only 2 variants of the USPc that come with a spurred hammer.

The spurred hammer could also be added after the fact. But if these come from an overseas security agency (you mentioned importer), chances are they are V9 with safety.

Yes they are coming from a overseas security agency.

I'll see if I can get a pic of the left side of the gun when my buddy can get one.

I have reserved 2, and he tells me there are several batches the first of which will be 5-10 units. I assume all are the same varients.

At the price point he has quoted me, these are gonna be a steal.

Thanks for the clarification/education @TooSixy . Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a factory USPc V9/10 in my neck of the woods. Learn something new everyday. Noted.

Oh I will. Approx 1500 guns total, m&p9c's, the USP's, and astra, llama, alpha proj, s&w, and taurus revolvers as well. Although the revolvers are more used and worn, but the price will be very worth it!
