When I ordered my SP5 a week ago, I talked to the Premium HK Dealer about a new release of the SP5K and he told me to not hold my breath. If I wanted one then find a old SP5K or get a clone. He's a nice guy and have been working with him for a couple years now so I personally took his word on it. Here's to hoping though
Maybe we will get them much later since the Japanese military just got a contract for VP9s, I think their millions will take precedence over the civilians monies.
I thought it was sooner rather than later, but it would seem the SP5 is a lot more popular than the SP5K. i dont see why not run both unless they only have one production line for either or
Perhaps Heckler & Koch really thought there was a small market for the SP5K, and that market would certainly only want a push button magazine release. Can you blame them? Some people have been complaining about the paddle magazine release design on their pistols for decades.
Get your words.
But, what would a purchase of this new sp5 have over the Sp5k other than the barrel and paddle?
Not sure if this requires a purchase?
I’m still saving for the Sanders Magtech, again.
