Default Grey Guns Short Reset for USP

I wanted to ask if anyone has installed a GG SRS in a USP FS, in particular regarding the firing pin block spring that comes with it. Is the fpbs heavier than the enhanced or "soft" fpbs or is it a heavier tensile they say it is required for proper function.

Overall how does it feel anyone have a video showing the shortened reset action?

I installed one on my p30 after switching V1 to 4.1
It made a big difference, not that I can shoot it any better. Sorry this is not a direct comparison.

I think it is the same spring that comes with the light LEM and V1. Not sure.

I think It’s the same enhanced fpbs that hkparts has listed as 11lbs.

Did you know this before making the conversion?

Default Grey Guns Short Reset for USP

I’ve installed several. It shortens the reset a lot and is well worth it. While on one I did the full install, I found on the others that the longer pin on the sear and the FPB spring do not have to be installed to have it work. It might make for a softer trigger pull or something I’m not picking up on, but the shorter reset works with just the one main part installed.

That I was unable to shoot it better? Yes, I ran about 50 rounds thru it just for comparison. I do have better control, but the longer trigger pull just mentally messes with me.

It makes a huge difference on the LEM. I agree that the FPBS is the light LEM spring. Everything together really lightens the pull weight and shortens the length significantly.

So for those of us that conveted a v1 hk45c which supposedly has the light springs in it, do you think it's necessary to change the fpbs when using this kit?
