If we can only be so fortunate:)
However, I think all mag prices will start to rise in the coming months.
We have an election on the horizon......

Don't think they'd have offered a product that would compromise reliability in any form for extra rounds. Then again, this could also be a rush product without proper testing. Don't really believe the latter though...but 17rnds is cool to have now :)

I think it's wise to trust HK and their vetting procedures. The angst is likely unfounded. They wouldn't market it if it wasn't just right.

Wolff Gunsprings recommends downloading “high capacity magazines” by one or two rounds to preserve spring life, so you are back to 15 rounds. I believe the 15 rounders are a superior design. I also think Wolff probably knows a thing or two about gun springs.

They were. HK Webshop had them but sold out.
I've not seen them offered anywhere else.

I think mags, as well as ammo and some guns, will continue to be harder to acquire with this pandemic; and will be further exacerbated by the forthcoming election.
I don't think things will be like they were a few months ago until after the election, and that is assuming Trump wins.

While I use Wolf springs the logic of making +10% springs and then recommending downloading the mags seems counter intuitive to me. So now every mag isn't really a high capacity
mag the manufacturers intended it to be? One thing for sure they know how to sell springs!!
I will continue to load mine to full capacity as designed.
