    Default Hk p7 m8 & m 13

A friend brought an M13 to the range many years ago, and when I tried it I was very impressed with the accuracy for a compact gun, and the whole package in general.

So when these two guns showed up at an auction here in Switzerland back in 2014, I had a hard time choosing, then decided to try and get both, since theyíre not made anymore and can be hard to find, seems like owners hang on to them. They were both abt $ 1500 apiece.

The M13 was LNIB with most accessories, but only one mag (I guess it originally came with two). It was made in 1998.

    Manual

    Guarantee was left blank

    Test target

Because of the complete package and itís condition, I donít shoot it much, probably had 50 rounds through it. I would happily carry it though (if I could carry).

The M8 came without box or papers, just the gun and two mags. Itís the one I shoot regularly. The slim grip with single stack magazine helps, as the cocking lever makes the grip quite long across. It was made in 1986.

And itís accurate. 25 meters off hand

A period ad. Someone said advertising it as the most expensive handgun in the world was not a good idea.

Nice collection. I have both the m8 and m13. They are my favorite HK pistols, followed by the Mark 23 and the USP series. I wish HK still made the p7 series. They are the ideal carry pistol and just down right accurate and reliable.

Very nice. I have one that came with that same German Manual and P7 patch.

Congratulations! Years from now you will have long forgotten about the money, but hopefully you can pass these down to children or family.

Nice! Not to hijack the thread, but anyone know where to get that advertisement in print?

The M13 has aftermarket sights so someone was probably shooting it — you might as well!

If "Dirty Harry" had been made in 1996:
"I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire twelve shots or only eleven?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a HK MARK 23, the only offensive handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"

    Congrats! Excellent choices!

I like your Trijicon sights on the p7. You said your M13 was made in 98? What date code do you have?
