Default EFK Fire Dragon Conversion Barrels

Has anybody tried the EFK HKUSP Full Size 357 Sig Conversion barrel to convert your full size 40 S&W to 357 sig or HKUSP Full Size 9MM Conversion barrel to convert your full size 40 S&W to 9MM using 9MM magazines? I was just wondering if it was worth the investment to having my full size USP use two other calibers and if the pistol would still retain accuracy and most importantly reliability.
I understand HK USP 40C’s can use HK .357 Sig conversion barrels but HK couldn’t figure it out with full-size .357 conversion barrels. Correct me if I’m wrong and maybe they just didn’t want too.

    I have a P-30 40S&W
I have the EFK 9mm plain barrel ( not extended or threaded) conversion barrel. Functions perfectly.

    Note
I do use the 9mm magazines and I also purchased a 9mm recoil spring assy to go with it.

Haven't tried the 357 conversion yet but it's on my wish list

Thanks for pointing out using the 9mm RSA. I’ll look into that. I wonder what the lbs difference is from the .40 RSA?

I have a friend who uses the Rim Country Manufacturing (RCM) .357sig conversion drop-in barrel in his USP40 gun. Also, he uses the USP9 jet funnel mags to avoid FTF problems per RCM recommendations. I have shot it, and it's a great gun.

I hope you have the same success with the EFK barrel you want.

I have an extended and ported EFK barrel in 9mm that I’ve used extensively in a USP40 compact, predominately range use. Has worked flawlessly, reduces the 40c muzzle flip a bit and is as accurate as my factory 9 compact.

Did you have to replace any other parts, ejector etc?
I have a HK USP-C LEM in .40. cal, I would like to change over to 9mm.

No extra pistol parts. Just drop the barrel in. My wife had a malf using the 40 mags. She only used the 9mm mag after that and there were no further issues. EFK does recommend using the proper 9mm magazine for the 40 to 9 conversions.

In the mean time, grab some PMC 165gr 40D. The 165 bullet at 989 fps will make a lot of people rethink their 40.
