I have an MRO on my SP5k using the BattleSteel mount (Botach). It co-witnesses well.

Here are some not so great cell phone pics of my setup:

It is definitely on the larger size. I love it at the range, but it does get pretty close to the charging handle.

Not so much distracting, but I always felt like I was lifting my cheek off the stock to get behind the dot. So today, I fixed it...

I made a little modification to my SP5. After a few matches with it, I have found that while I really like the RDS, the gun was clearly designed to be shot with the iron sights--every time I shoulder the gun with a good cheek weld, I'm looking at the base of the red dot sight. I briefly considered getting one of those rear sight replacement blocks that direct mounts an RMR, but I really like the MRO. So did the next best thing (the free thing) and made a small cheek riser out of a piece of kydex. It works absolutely perfectly, and puts my eye at the right level every time.

I also have an SP5K and I have a Sig Romeo5 and I want to cowitness the front sight. I just ordered the Battle Steel KZ Ultra low mount. The one mentioned in the youtube listed above is no longer made.

This is the Battle Steel KZ ultra low mount from B&T ($10 cheaper than the older one)

Awesome pics! If you don’t mind, what do you think the best mount would be for the MRO HD https://www.trijicon.com/products/pr...rijicon-mro-hd.

I'd go with an aimpoint micro, the MRO sucks to look through in comparison to any of my aimpoints or eotechs

First of all, I was not aware of the HD models of the MRO, thanks for the info cause that's a pretty awesome combo. I personally would go with a low, QD mount, so I'd buy the bare one then the mount somewhere else if that is all of their options.

Got any pics? I love the SRO and run one on my Glock 34.

The SRO is a nice balance in size, smaller than the MRO but not too small like an RMR... seems like it would go well on an MP5!

I'm running the MRO on my Zenith setup but can't bring myself to install a rail on my SP5 :)
