Default Im going crazy , hk 45 or usp 45

Hello, I'm looking for as much info as I can for these two. First off I've never held or seen either gun in person. I own a vp9 and love that gun, so naturally I want more! Here's my questions, HK45 I've had da/sa but was interested in Lem trigger. Is it worth it? Since I have the Vp9 and it is comfy to shoot, carry should i skip the usp45 ?

I have the HK.45C is the "compact", very nice and accurate gun, must be the O ring on the barrel, I don't know if the full size has the O ring, anyway an excellent weapon.

Go with the USP 45. You won't regret it. I have the match trigger on my USP 45, not the LEM.

    Get both; problem solved.

Seriously though, if you can't at least handle both pistols, it is going to be very difficult for anyone else to give you useful advice. Sure, you'll get plenty of well-meaning comments in this thread, most of which will boil-down to other people telling you which pistol is best for them.

I will say that most people who don't have very large hands prefer the ergonomics of the HK45, for which you give up 2rds of magazine capacity.

The full-size HK45 also has the O-ring. I have heard of some experiments shooting both with and without the O-ring, and the accuracy difference was negligible. I agree it's a very accurate pistol, but apparently that accuracy derives from the quality of the whole package, and the O-ring contributes at best a very small percentage.

I'm still glad HK puts it on there; I just think it's cool for some reason :)

I hear the green O rings make it far more accurate than the stock black ones! LOL I have the HK45 and the HK45C I love them both, and both are dead on accurate. I live in a 10 round state so for me it wasn't a very hard decision.

This +1. You need to hold and shoot both guns and decide.

    Easy answer, get both :-)

I prefer the HK45 ergos to USP full size. HK45C is a remarkable gun, silly accurate (as are all HKs).

USP can handle 45 Super (so this forum says) easier than HK45, if that's a consideration.

Can't go wrong with either, I'll get a USP some day just to have one, but still prefer HK45.
