Congrats. You’ll love it. I personally prefer the LEM V2 or V1 but if your use to DA/SA the V3 will be right up your alley! The decocker on the V3 is great. Report back once you’ve received it.

Generally I would prefer no finger grooves on a pistol I might have to draw quickly. Finger grooves on the grip are fine on a range pistol, in my opinion.

I have both and am confident you would be pleased with either gun. While the p30sk certainly has the most versatility for customizing the grip. There is something about the p2000sk that makes it awesome! If I could only have " one SK " It would probably be the 2000.

I’m a P30 guy so prefer the P30SK although I have only held and not shot the p2000SK. As others have said, I think you’ll be happy with either, though. Try to hold both then make your decision.

I got my P2000SK years ago. Its ok. The P30SK is ok, not great. I didn't bother changing the P2000SK works. I don't need to sell a firearm at a loss and pay full retail for essentially the same firearm.

Own both, love them both. For either pistol, take a look at the LEM trigger configuration especially if you do appendix carry.

On the P30sk ten round mags I've tried every grip extension available. I still haven't found one I like and end up carrying the factory plain basepad for concealability.

On the P2000sk, I followed advice found here and rounded down the lip on the factory mags which allow the pinky to "purchase" which improves controlability.

    Type 2 control, cleared hot.

    Well congrats on the purchase!
Reading this thread made me order a P2000SK today.
I went with a V2 as I shoot well with LEM in my P30SK.
Hopefully no delays in shipping due to the virus

    Enjoy and stay safe!

I owned a P2000sk for 5 years. I have held the P30sk. I like the P2000sk much better. Plus, as someone else stated - the texture of the P30sk may rub on your side, depending on how you carry it.

Now, I actually just sold my P2000sk a month ago because I never used it. I have carried my P2000 for 5 years straight. On the waist, the sk and the larger P2000 print about the same under a shirt. And, I just prefer the larger gun, all things being equal.

Just switched over from 40 to 9 yesterday. P2000sk on the hip. And VP9sk on the ankle. Very comfortable. Very concealed.(lots of Critical Defense)
