Default HK VP9 for Everyday carry

I have made the VP9 my official EDC gun. I still have my Glocks, and won't get rid of them, but if you have not put your hands on the new HK VP9 you really ought to at least pick one up next time you're in your local gun shop, ESPECIALLY if you're a striker fire person. It has the best factory trigger I've felt on a SF pistol, and it rivals many DA/SA models. It really is a quality pistol.

I've got one, but I EDC the VP9sk. The size makes it more concealable. And if you think the trigger is good now, try a Lobos trigger. I've got em on both my VPs, and if I ever buy another, I'll put it on that one too.

EDIT: Pick up the low profile magwell from HKParts. It makes a really good grip even better. MUCH better.

I carry VP9 in JM Custom AIWB 2.5/ModWing. Tucks grip into body and conceals fantastic. Have 73,150 through it and change RSA every 15.000 rounds. Flawless functioning

I think the VP9 carries easily if you dress around it, I carried mine OWB and it's really not much different than most of the pistols in my
carry rotation which are all full size except my G19. ymmv but it's absolutely a great CCW pistol.

I agree. It is great. For great +1, get a Lobos trigger and install it. What an improvement.

Are the new 2020 VPs any different from the older ones besides the capacity and optics ready?

The sights are updated to front white dot and blacked out rear. My question is that in the pictures I see of the OR VP9's they are BK date coded on the slide. I thought this was a 2020 update. Shouldn't they be CA?
