    Default P30 mags

Giving my P30L 9MM LEM a long overdue cleaning.
Wiped down the 15 round mags & performed a function check and low & behold.

I bought the weapon second hand, did I get snookered, or is this normal?

They will lock into my USPc & lock the slide back, donít know about feeding etc since I donít have any 9MM dummy rounds.

P2000-9/USP9C/P30x-9/VP9x interchange the 15/17 mags (if that's what you're asking).

Thank you. Learn something new here all the time.

I didnít phrase my question correctly.

Do all P30 mags come with magazines marked as this ?

So the bottom rubber looks like that mag was dropped on a hard surface the other marks look a little ruff but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Not sure the history of that mag just looks like the user was ruff with his mags which I have seen personal on HK's mags and others as well it's not the worst I have ever seen.

If you are referring to the 9x19c then yes they are marked that way from the factory.

The paint / finish rubbed off or scratched from the mags is from day to day use.

The mags in my USP(s) & this P30 are not treated gently. They are slammed home, dropped, thrown in the range bag and so on. They have never let me down. I consider this honest patina and has no impact on utility of the piece.
I suppose there is a chance that the feed lips could get bent & relegate a mag to future use as an expensive paper weight. Hasnít happened yet, & should that occur, it can be replaced rather easily.
